Eco Club Leads the Way in Recycling and Sustainability
At Northumberland Heath Primary, the value of respect extends beyond the classroom — it’s embedded in how we care for our environment too.
This term, our passionate Eco Club, has been leading by example, raising awareness about recycling and sustainability across the school. From encouraging classmates to recycle crisp packets and pens to running informative assemblies and eco challenges, pupils are helping create a culture of responsibility and environmental respect.
We were also thrilled to receive beautiful handcrafted bird boxes, kindly made by a family member of our Wellbeing Coach, to support local wildlife in our eco garden. This generous contribution will help our pupils observe nature up close and understand the importance of caring for all living things.
These efforts reflect our commitment to living out our values every day — showing respect for our planet, our school community, and the future we’re helping to shape.
